Our Vision.
Holidays For The Heroes unite active duty military personnel with loved ones during the holiday season. We do this by linking patriotic donors interested in funding full or partial airline tickets and helping the service member arrange travel.
Our Story.
It started with a simple social network post by our founder in November of 2019. The post was shared by thousands, received international news media coverage and ultimately brought over 60 active duty Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, Airmen and Coast Guardsmen Home for the Holidays. We officially formed as a 501c3 Corporation (EIN#84-4439339) in May of 2020. All donations are 100% tax deductible and 100% of all donations are applied to airline tickets for heroes!
Our Founder.
Holidays For The Heroes founder, Ed Roshitsh, is a veteran of the US Air Force, software company executive, author, and speaker. He has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for active duty and veteran military heroes through Holidays For The Heroes and other charitable efforts targeted towards military causes.
Our Partners:
TravelAgent360 is an online military travel agency founded by US Marine Corps veteran Andrew Appleton. The site helps both military and civilian travelers find and schedule various travel services, including car rentals, flights, hotels, and vacation packages. The company's focus is to provide the best fares & rates, including military prices for the active duty service member. TravelAgent360 supports the military community by employing active-duty spouses and veterans as travel agents.
